Is it possible to provide restricted access to certain features of SherWare to a user? For example, could the land department have access to "maintain DOI"?

From the File menu, choose Edit User Accounts. You can create a new user, and then on the Privileges tab, choose to grant DOI Data Entry, and any other area you'd like to permit such as Land Data Entry, and Land Reporting. You can grant access to the Land Management group, but be careful what other groups are allowed as this may give them more access than you want. This will give the user the ability to view the DOI screens and have access to DOI utilities, but not enter a new owners or wells.

In order to add new owners or wells, you will have to grant the user Rev Dist Data Entry to be able to access the owner information and well information screens. However, this privilege will also grant access to everything else associated with closing a revenue run, which you may not want. There's not a way to add privilege for editing owner information, well information, and DOI only.
