The software won't let me delete the tax amount in the Div of Int screen. Something about enabling "edit." I went to JIB Options and checked the box to enable editing but it still won't let me delete the tax. Why are all the fields in this screen and the owner screen grey in color? Didn't they used to be white or am I going crazy?

It sounds like you're using the Edit Mode preference in the Disbursement & JIB Options screen on the Processing tab. This will require you to click the Edit button on the toolbar before being able to make any changes to the information being viewed. The Edit button on the toolbar appears as a hand holding a pencil on a piece of paper, and is just to the right of the New button. Click this button, and the fields on the screen being viewed will activate allowing you to make your changes.

In Accounting Manager Version 6, Disbursement and JIB Manager Version 8 and Disbursement and JIB Manager Integrated Edition Version 3, you can change this option under Edit > Preferences > Miscellaneous Preferences.
