  • QBFC5 Error

We updated to the QuickBooks 2008 version and now I have "Class Definition QBFC5.QBSESSIONMANAGER not found" error. Not sure if it is because of the update or if I have a different problem. (DMIE)

You'll need to update the interface for QuickBooks since you've updated your QuickBooks version. This can be done from our Web site. Login to our Web site, www.sherware.com, and then click on the link for QuickBooks Interface. Choose Run when prompted, and then accept the defaults during the InstallShield wizard. You'll need to install this on each computer that uses our software to integrate with QuickBooks. Be sure that you have QuickBooks closed at the time you run the interface update.

You'll also want to make sure that you update to the latest version of the Disbursement & JIB Manager. If you are not currently at that version, you can update by clicking on the History Patch button on the same web page. The above will correct the error message you're receiving.
