How does your MICR font program work? If I understand it correctly, the MICR requires a program, special printing cartridge and laser jet printer.

The MICR Check Printing module that we offer includes the processing necessary for the MICR fonts. It is necessary to use a Laser printer. There isn't a way to print only part of the check with the magnetic ink, it would have to be the whole check at a time. Brent tells me that it's becoming increasingly more common that banks scan the checks optically now, instead of magnetically, so it may not be an issue for you. You would have to see what your banks requirements are. Our module does not include the print cartridge or printer, only the program and fonts.
