We have a problem when SherWare posts amounts to our Revenue Clearing account in QuickBooks. We have a welled named the Kell and a well named the Kellering #1. Each of these are allocated the correct amounts of production, revenue & expenses in SherWare. When SherWare makes the entry to the revenue clearing account in QuickBooks, nothing gets posted to the QuickBooks class "Kell." Amounts for each of these wells come over to QuickBooks in the revenue clearing account as the class "Kellering #1." Any suggestions? (DMIE)

This is a limit of the QuickBooks interface. We're not able to match the names exactly during the posting, only the beginning characters. In order to work around this, you'll need to make the name of the well Kell distinctly different from Kellering #1. Or, you might want to consider putting #1 in front of Kellering so it appears as '#1 Kellering' instead. This will only happen when the entire name is included in another well's name.

I have entered our royalty owners' names and address, etc. When SherWare synchronized with Quickbooks I received the error message on all royalty owner names, 3100, Name already exists in Quickbooks. It says I must change the name somehow in SherWare in order to resolve this. However, I'm not sure how I'm suppose to change the name when I have to have the name of the royalty owner correct. How do I resolve this? (DMIE)

I would recommend changing the names of those royalty owners in QuickBooks since you will now be paying them directly from our software. This will make the name that already appears in QuickBooks different than the name that SherWare is trying to add, so it shouldn't complain about the 3100 error after making that change and synchronizing it again.
