The only way to close a JIB run for one well is:
I would recommend the second choice, so that you don't have to change well groups on your wells periodically, and therefore create history for the wells with multiple groups. To put the activity for the other wells into the allocation file, you'll need to open the Well JIB Expense by Well (8/8ths) screen from the Tasks menu. Enter the well ID of a well that should not be included in the JIB Run, then tab out of the well ID field. This will display any expenses in the New Run for this well in the grid below.
Click on any detail line that you wish to put in the allocation file, and then click the Delete Detail Line button. The expense will be deleted and placed in the allocation file if the expense appeared in blue font. If the expense appears in black or red font, then the system will prompt you if you want to place it in the allocation file. Answer Yes to place it in the allocation file. Do this for each well's expenses that should not be included in the JIB run, so that the only expenses remaining in the New Run, are the expenses for this one well that they want to process a JIB Run for.
After the JIB Run is closed for that particular well, you may release any expenses from the allocation file by using the Allocate Held Expense screen under the Tasks menu.
You'll need to close the groups individually. You're not able to close multiple groups at the same time. You can use the same dates to close multiple groups.
