Joint Interest Billing Statements
Joint Interest Billing Statements can be produced each accounting period and sent to each JIB working interest owner along with their revenue check. The statements list the expenses each joint interest owner owes for the production period/s processed. See Division of Interestfor more information on JIB interest.
Run No.
The JIB run on which you wish to report. If New Run is chosen, the report will include all expense that hasn't been processed in a JIB closing.
Group
The group of wells which needs to be included on this statement. Owners get a statement for each group of wells they have an interest in.
Accounting Date
The report will show all expenses on or before this date when the New Run is chosen.
Receivable Acct for Previous Balances
Choose the QuickBooks receivable account to retrieve the owner's prior balances from. If a specific account is chosen, only the balances from that receivable account will display on the JIB statements.
First Owner and Last Owner
The first and last owner ID in the range of owners for which statements will be generated.
Sort Order
Allows you to change the way the report sorts the information on it. You can sort by one of the following:
Expense Section, Production Period, Expense Code, Vendor
Expense Section, Expense Code, Production Period, Vendor
Adjusting the sort order is a newer feature that requires updated reporting formats for this report. If the software was installed prior to when this feature became available a message may appear indicating that it can't locate the format. If you receive this message then contact SherWare support to obtain the new report format. You will not be charged for this report format.
Include Billing Summary
Adds a cover page to each owners statement with a summary of his activity.
Export to PDF
Allows you to export the report to a PDF file.
E-mail Statements to Owners
This option allows you to e-mail the statement to the owner if they have a valid e-mail address saved in their Owner Information record. A report will appear after your choose to E-mail Statements, letting you know which owners had missing or invalid e-mail addresses. This option only appears when New Run is selected under Run No.
Include owners marked to only have statements emailed
When marked, the report will only show the information for owners that have the option marked to "Email Detail Only" on the options tab of the owner information window.
