1099 Misc. Replacement
This report will show everything that appears on the 1099 but can be printed on blank paper. Some companies will mail this out to the investors initially instead of using the preprinted forms so that they don't have to purchase them. The report produces a legal tax document that has one vendor or investor's information per page. The 1099-Misc Replacement can be used to send to your owners/vendors but cannot be used for the copy that you send to the IRS.
The information on this report is based off of the information on the "Update 1099 File" window.

Print By Well - If the 1099s were created by well then you will need to mark this option. If you did not create the 1099s by well then this option should not be marked.
Print Selected 1099s - Allows you to individually choose which entities you want to print a 1099 for.
Selecting 1099s To Print - When you mark the "Print selected 1099s" option a separate window will appear listing all of the available entities on the left. Move the desired entities over into the "Selected" space. The report will then only appear for the entities in the selected column. Click on the single arrow (>) to move it into the selected field. Click on the double arrow (>) to move all records into the selected field. You can hold the Ctrl or shift keys on your keyboard to select multiple entities at a time.
Mask Recipient Tax IDs - The report will not show the tax ID for each entity if this option is marked. Generally this option is not used. The IRS does accept 1099s with masked tax IDs. This option will add security and is a safeguard against identity theft.
