Vendor Setup
All vendors will be set up in QuickBooks.
You can view your vendors in the Vendor Center. Add a new vendor by clicking on the "New Vendor" button in the top left corner.
When creating a new vendor, the vendor name is the only thing that has to be filled out. The address is beneficial as that will be on the address that prints on the check that is sent to the vendor. Terms can be selected if applicable for this vendor. The Tax ID and "Vendor eligible for 1099" option should be marked if this vendor should have a 1099 created for them in SherWare at the end of the year when 1099s are created.
After creating a new vendor you will have to synchronize the files in SherWare before you will be able to see the new vendor in SherWare.
