Receive JIB Payments & House Gas Owner Payments

Payments received from JIB owners or House Gas owners should be entered directly in QuickBooks. These payments are not received in DMIE.

To receive a payment, go to Receive Payments in QuickBooks. Enter the owner's name and then apply the payment.
If there are any amounts that equal the payment, then the payment will be applied toward it.

JIB Payments
In QuickBooks preferences under "Sales & Customers" on the Company Preferences tab is an option to "Use Undeposited Funds as a default deposit to account". That option is marked by default. If that option is marked then you will not be able to choose an account to deposit the payment to. If you unmark the option then you can choose a different account.
