I have two companies that I am transmitting to the IRS. I created the files and am attempting to send them to the IRS. When I went to select the file and upload, I only found 1 IRS file on my hard drive. Does that contain both companies? If not, do I need to create and transmit separately?

If you did not specify a different location for the file when creating the magnetic media for the second company, it would have overwritten the first one created.

I would recommend that you re-create the magnetic media file for both companies and be sure to specify a different file location for both companies when creating it. This is specified directly in the magnetic media window before creating it.
