    Will SherWare automatically set up the accounts in the new version of QuickBooks if I were to upgrade or will they need to be setup manually?

    Our software will read any accounts that you define in QuickBooks, but those accounts will need to be set up first in QuickBooks, as our software doesn't do anything with creating the chart of accounts automatically.

    Is there a way for SherWare to automatically set up account numbers?

    No. Our software will not create accounts automatically within QuickBooks. Also, it does not automatically generate the ID to be used for an owner, well, expense category, etc. because the code can be alpha or numeric, based on the user's discretion.
