I got a few "Alias not found" errors while doing data entry on my Div. of Interest last night. It was not obvious that I had hit any wrong buttons when it happened. I tried twice to Reindex as you suggested this afternoon. Each time it made it through about 90% and then gave me "Alias not found" errors before finishing the re-indexing. I had to cancel or ignore, but it was fatal and shut down my SherWare both times. It did not fix the check interest error, but I am not sure it completed re-indexing properly.

Choose to "Update Files" from the Utilities menu. This will fix the error you get when re-indexing. After You Update re-index again and you should not get the error.

If you do get an error when re-indexing or you still have the problem with the Division of Interest copying connect SherWare support so we can take a look at it.

Generally any time you get a random error or think you see something funny you should re-index. Most of the time this will take care of the issue. You may want to re-index occasionally anyways, maybe once a week or month. If re-indexing doesn't take care of the issue or if you get an error while re-indexing then you need to "Update Files" from the utilities menu then re-index again. If you still have a problem or error after all this then you should contact us to figure out what is going on.
