It appears the system assigns run numbers sequentially regardless of what group etc. Can we have duplicate run numbers for the various groups or is the normal practice just allowing the system to assign them, regardless of group. Any suggestions?

The system will assign the run numbers based on how many runs have been closed already within the given run year, regardless of group.
