Suspense Reports

Lists the suspense file entries by Owner.

Report Type:
The type of suspense report that you want to run.

**All Owner Suspense Entries**
Lists all the suspense file entries by Owner.
Cumulative Minimum Owner Suspense
Lists all minimum check suspense entries by owner.
Cumulative Owner Deficits
Lists all deficit suspense entries by owner.
Cumulative Owner/Interest Hold Suspense
Lists all Owner on Hold and/or all Interest on Hold suspense entries by owner.
Cumulative Disb. Freq. Owner Suspense
Lists all disbursement frequency suspense entries by owner, such as Annual, Semi-Annual and Quarterly. The owner's disbursement frequency is set in the Owner Information screen. The Monthly disbursement frequency does not place an owner's activity into suspense.
All Legal Suspense Entries
Lists all legal suspense. This is any type of suspense except a deficit.
Deficits Into Suspense During Run
Lists all deficit amounts that went into suspense during a specific run closing.
Minimums Into Suspense During Run
Lists all minimum suspense amount added to suspense during a specific run closing.
Holds Into Suspense During Run
Lists all amounts added to suspense during a specific run closing because either the owner or well was listed as on hold.
Cumulative Well Revenue Suspense
Lists all revenue suspense entries by well.
Cumulative Well Deficits
Lists all deficit suspense entries by well.

As of Run No
The most recent run number that you want to include suspense entries for.

First/Last Owner
The first and last owner ID in the range of IDs to report on.

Start a New Page For Each Owner
Marking this option will place a page break between each owner. This allows you to mail or file the report since only one owner's information is included on each page.

Summarize by Owner
Summarizes the suspense detail onto one line for each owner.

Subtotal by Well ID
After the detail is listed for each well a total line will be inserted to display the total suspense affecting each well.

Subtotal by Program
The suspense for all interest within a program will be grouped together when this option is marked. A subtotal for each program will be displayed.
This option is removed if choosing to view the Cumulative Well Revenue Suspense or Cumulative Well Deficits suspense reports.

Include Suspense Entries from All Groups
Includes all suspense entries regardless of what well group the suspense entry is assigned to.

Exclude Pmt Records
You can choose whether you want payments that have been received from each investor to be included on the report or not.

Exclude Cleared Suspense Entries
If Suspense balances have been deleted using the "Clear Owner Suspense" utility this option will determine if those entries appear on the suspense report or not.

Unmarked: When left unmarked, the deleted suspense entries will appear on the report. The right margin will display "Cleared" indicating that this suspense balance was deleted.
Leave this unmarked to see the suspense balances as of the point immediately following when the specified run was processed. The totals on this report will match the totals on the Revenue Run Closing Summary.
Marked: When marked the deleted suspense entries will not appear on the report.
Mark this option when viewing the report for the new run to report on the current suspense balances which will match the balance in the suspense accounts.
Mark this option when viewing the report for a previously closed run to report on the suspense totals at the point just prior to the following run being closed.

Viewing the Report

Backup/Tax Withholding
If Backup Withholding (From the Owner Information) or State Tax Withholding (From the Division of Interest ) affects the amount that goes into suspense, it will not be listed on the report in a column, but it will be reflected in the net column.

Payment Records
Lines on the report that do not have a production period listed for them were created from a payment that was entered on the Receive Owner Net Payments window.

Cleared Suspense
Suspense Balances that have been deleted with the Clear Owner Suspense utility can display on the report. They will be marked as "Cleared" in the right margin.
