Delay Rental Check Setup

This menu allows you to modify Delay Rental check formats used by the software. This will be used to add a logo, signature, or adjust the location of the address so it fits with your envelopes.

Refer to the Report Designer topic for instructions on modifying each of the formats.

Several options are available under this menu. You only need to modify the format that corresponds with the "Check Type" specified in the Check Printing Preferences under the Revenue Distribution Section. While this uses the same check layout as specified for the Revenue Distribution checks it is looking at different files for the format to use.

You can modify the following Delay Rental check formats:

Dot-Matrix - (No Stub) (lmchekdn)

Dot-Matrix - (Stub Below) (lmchekdb)

Dot-Matrix - (Stub Above) (lmchekda)

Laser - (No Stub) (lmchekln)

Laser - (Stub Below) (lmcheklv)

Laser - (Stub Above) (lmchekla)

Laser - (Middle Check) (lmcheklc)

Custom Check (lmchekcf)

MICR Laser (Stub Below) (lmchekle)

MICR Laser (No Stub) (lmchekln)

For example, if you have "Laser (Stub Below)" selected in the check printing preferences then you will choose the same on this menu in order to modify that format.

BACKUP!
It is very easy to make mistakes when adjusting the margins or changing some of the fields that overlap. Create a backup of the format before attempting to make changes. This ensures you will be able to quickly get back up and running if you need to reverse some of the changes. Create a backup of both the .FRT and .FRX files for the respective check format. These files will be found within the Checks folder.
