Welcome to the help resource for Disbursement and JIB Manager Integrated Edition (DMIE).

This Help File can be accessed by pressing F1 from within the software, selecting it from the Help Menu, opening from the dmie.chm file in your public documents folder, or an online version can be viewed after logging on to www.pivoten.com.

Navigating the Help File

Contents Tab:
Use the tabs to the left to browse to the desired topic.
Help by Window - Use this area to find a topic related to a specific window in the software. Each window can be found the same as it would be found from the menu in Well Profits.
Help By Subject - Allows you to find more information about a specific subject. These topics will be a more in depth discussions of an area or subject within the software.
Frequently Asked Questions - Answers to questions that many people have.
QuickBooks Integration - General Topics about the features within QuickBooks that deal with the integration between QuickBooks and Well Profits.
SherWare, Inc. - A basic company overview of SherWare.

Index Tab:
The Index Tab arranges all of the topics in alphabetical order.

Search Tab:
Use the Search Tab to quickly locate all topics with a specific word or phrase.

Favorites Tab:
Allows you to save or bookmark topics so that you can quickly find them in the future.

Updating the Help File:
The Help File will not update automatically. You will need to manually do so by downloading the latest one from www.sherware.com and saving it over the old file. The file name for the help file is dm.hbp and is stored in the public documents folder of your computer.

Running the Help File From a Server
The Help File cannot be run from across a server. This is a security restriction with Windows as it will not allow you to run .hpb files across a server. So if you Press F1 or open it from the Help Menu then you will get an error. If this is the case you will need to copy the dm.hpb file from the server and paste it onto your computer. You can then manually open it outside of the software. Another option would be to just view the online version from www.sherware.com.

Press the F1 key from any window within the software and this help file appear with the topic related to that window.
